Clean of Unfinished Uploads

For the first time in a LONG time, I have no unfinished uploads on istock. Now that may not seem momentous to some, but when you realize that at one point I had over 700 unfinished uploads, and that I haven't managed to get my queue down to nothing for probably at least 12 months, it may seem more significant. I was aiming to get it done yesterday - but I think I'd spent too long on the computer - my vision was going funny, so I finished this morning.

YAY! Now to fill it up again.

I worry me.

With the amount of uploads you have I'm surprised you do your uploads through the web and don't use one of the contributor-created softwares (like IM or LS). I usually get my 100/week on the site, but would lose so much patience with doing it all through the website. :)

The problem is that with the number of uploads I have, all the software slows down to a crawl or hangs. With tabbed browsing, the web interface is pretty fast

Wow! I'm impressed Amanda......specially when I realise you had more unfinished u/l than I do total images in my port. Off to check out your latest u/l :D

It's good to know that web-uploading at large quantities does work well! :)

I am in-between mac and PC right now and use my PC for uploading (until the new IM is released) and I'll be without my PC for quite a while during our move out of Hawaii. So, I'll have to use the web to do my uploading and it's good to know that it works fine. I prefer having all of my images keyworded and all ready to go, so all I have to do is push a button and they upload when my 168 hours is up, so that's why I really like the software. :)

Woohoo! for no unfinished uploads :) That is quite a task and don't know how you manage. I need to get better at my time management it seems. hehe

I love tabs! :D That's how I do it too. Used to use IM but with all the bugs the controlled vocabulary and all the other stuff gave it... I resigned and started doing it online again.
